Partnering with you toward healing, growth and wellbeing

Together.

Calm.

  • Therapy offers invaluable support and guidance to individuals navigating life's challenges.

Through therapy, people can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in a safe and non-judgmental space.

Therapists provide tools and techniques to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health difficulties to help foster resilience and emotional well-being.

Moreover, therapy encourages self-discovery and personal growth by uncovering underlying patterns and beliefs that may hinder progress. It promotes healthier relationships, improved communication skills, and enhanced self-esteem.

Ultimately, therapy empowers individuals to cultivate a more fulfilling and balanced life, equipping them with the insights and skills needed to overcome obstacles and thrive.

  • Sarah provides individual therapy only.

This means that although you are welcome to bring a support person, friend, partner or spouse along to your appointment, Sarah does not provide formal couples or marriage counselling.

Although Sarah works with many neurodiverse folks, she does not provide formal assessment services for presentations such as Autism or ADHD.

However, if a need for assessment is identified as therapy progresses, Sarah will discuss this with you further in session.

  • At Together Calm, we warmly extend our support to clients covered under third-party providers such as NDIS and Workcover.

Please note - Clients benefiting from NDIS, Workcover, or similar arrangements are responsible for full payment for session upfront at the completion of your appointment.

Subsequently, you can seek reimbursement directly from your third-party provider after your appointment is completed.

Please note Together Calm does not engage in liaising with third-party providers about fees, payments or reimbursements on behalf of our clients.

Our commitment is to provide high-quality mental health care in a supportive environment, ensuring clarity and transparency in our financial arrangements.

  • Together Calm is committed to providing flexible and accessible mental health support through a variety of options.

Whether you prefer face-to-face sessions, telehealth appointments, or a combination of both, we accommodate your preferences and needs.

This approach is especially beneficial for individuals in rural Australia or those with mobility difficulties, where accessing a psychologist in person can be challenging due to distance and travel constraints.

For those who live nearby but find comfort in the familiarity of their own space, telehealth offers a convenient and effective way to benefit from therapy from the comfort of your own home.

We understand that each person's circumstances and comfort levels vary, which is why we tailor our services to ensure you receive the support that best suits you.

Whether it's through a screen or in person, Together Calm is dedicated to helping you achieve emotional well-being, health and personal growth in a way that fits seamlessly into your life.

People's needs in therapy vary widely, leading to different approaches in terms of session frequency and duration.

For some individuals, just a few therapy sessions can provide the momentum needed to initiate positive changes and gain valuable insights. These shorter-term interventions can be effective in addressing specific issues or crises, offering immediate support and practical strategies to cope with challenges.

On the other hand, many individuals benefit from an ongoing therapeutic process that unfolds over time.

Regularly scheduled sessions allow for deeper exploration of emotions, patterns, and underlying issues. This continuity enables therapists and clients to build trust, work through complex issues, and implement long-term strategies for personal growth and healing.

Whether someone benefits most from brief, focused therapy or a more extended therapeutic journey often depends on the nature of their concerns, personal preferences, and therapeutic goals.

The flexibility of therapy allows for tailored approaches that best meet the individual's needs, promoting lasting positive change and overall well-being.
